Kronospan | OSB Silo Project

The Kronospan OSB Silo Project was very unique to our company, possibly to our industry. D-vision III was asked to bid this project as labor, tools, equipment and overhead only. In this project the formwork was provided by a company called Wolf Systems from Austria. Not only did this company provide formwork but they also provided a working superintendent, reinforcing and the shop drawings and schedules that we worked with daily. Each day the Wolf superintendent would layout the tasks for the day and materials to be used, our guys performed the forming, installation of reinforcing, pouring and wrecking of the entire silo production. We hit the proposed schedule dead on the number of days forecasted at the jobs beginning. This was a very lucrative job for us and provided for some very valuable education in our field.
